Information Sheet

We will provide you with the Homeowner Information Sheet (HOIS) following a basic assessment, a renovation upgrade assessment or a post-upgrade assessment. This report provides you with more details about the efficiency of your home. It will outline the contribution from energy sources used in your home and it will tell you how your home uses energy and where your home loses heat.

For example, your report will say what percentage of energy consumption is used to heat your home versus hot water heating vs lights and appliances. This report will also tell you, as a percentage, how much heat is lost through your attic/ceilings, your walls, windows and other components of your building envelope.

Finally, the HOIS will give you a breakdown of the insulation levels in your ceiling/attic, and your walls as well as the energy rating of your doors and windows.
